Moving into assisted living or a care facility is a major life transition. Clearing out a room, whether from an independent apartment or a shared facility, requires sensitivity and care. We understand. Our team works closely with families and care coordinators to handle personal belongings, furniture, and memories with the respect they deserve.
We typically clear a full room of furniture and personal items in a single visit: beds, dressers, nightstands, chairs, lamps, boxes of clothing and keepsakes, and small appliances. We work with families to identify items for donation, sale, or estate distribution before we haul anything away. Nothing is rushed or discarded without family approval.

How much does an assisted-living cleanout cost?
Cost depends on room size and the volume of belongings. We assess on-site and provide a firm upfront quote before anything is moved. Free on-site estimate.
Can you donate items or handle estate sale items?
Yes. We donate usable furniture and clothing when possible, to local Hartford County charities. If items have sale value, we can box them for the family to handle separately, or coordinate with local estate sale companies.
What if there are medical items or special equipment?
We handle standard furniture and belongings. For medical equipment (hospital bed, oxygen, mobility aids), we coordinate with facility staff and family to ensure proper removal and storage or donation.
Do you work with multiple family members at different times?
Yes. We can schedule the clearout when one family member is available, or split it into phases if family members want to be present at different times. Just let us know what works best.
How quickly can you schedule a cleanout?
Same-day estimates Mon–Sun 7am–10pm. Once approved, we typically schedule within 24–48 hours. Urgent transitions available depending on crew availability.
